Message: I'm researching my grandfather, Garland Claud Oliver, and I saw the name "Garland Oliver" associated with a photo on this website from a Google search (although I couldn't get to that page!). I know very little about him, although I know he was in the Navy in World War II. If anyone could tell me about the Garland Oliver in this group, I would appreciate the help. My grandfather was from Falls Church, Virginia, and died of pneumonia about 1944, my grandmother said. Thanks very much!
